Great router, experience required.
This is a very nice router, hands down one of the better ones on the market. It is a full featured router and is capable of many things. However it is definatly for the more experienced to set up. The QuickVPN does not support DNS, and the QuickVP
PROS: Very capable router, very nice data transfer rates.
CONS: QuickVPN no DNS, Support stinks.

PROS: I bought two Linksys WRVS4400N routers to manage a business from my office with a site to site VPN connection. I have previously managed a Cisco PIX 515E VPN appliance in a corporate enviornement for 5 years. To begin the install I enabled remote manageme
CONS: The documentation could be better. I could not get the site to site VPN tunnel up so I looked to the advanced tab and they seem to have forgottened to document this area as an afterthough. They should tell you that the advanced area can be left as default

Key features terribly implemented
My main beef with the router is the QoS settings.. You have to enter in how much bandwidth you have in order for it to work.. However it does not differentiate between upload and download..
So my 16 Down 768 Up with QoS turned on will be
768 UP...
PROS: Good Gigabit, Good MIMO.
CONS: Price, QoS is horrible Customer phone support horrible, Mixed wireless bad

Not a good Small Business Server solution.
Check the support forums on the manufacturer website. There is a lot of info there about this problem.
PROS: Fast wireless.
CONS: As of firmware version 1.0.12 this unit will not allow SLL port 443 to be forwarded to a server. Very serious limitation for Small Business Server users desiring to use SSL for OWA or SharePoint.
