Good Speaker for the Price

These speaker are not as powerful as I had hoped but definitely get the job done. They are great speakers for the price. Shipping was quick and got here on time. No complaints.

Dont Buy - POS

I ordered this item for my iPod Touch when I plugged the speakers in I got no sound. I even tried other audio devices - nothing. When I contacted Sony Support, they wanted to charge me freight to exchange for an equal (not likely refurbished) speaker

I too bought this speaker for my mp3 player and its not really good. Even with the maximum volume i can hardly hear anything.

not what I expected

I'm an audio engineer and I was not very happy with these speakers. I thought they'd be great but they sound like they have built in reverb. Very tinny sounding. Oh well - what can you expect for 30$ these days?

They're not great, but they do the job

I bought these as a pair of speakers to sit on the side of my family-room computer. The sound isn't great, but they do the job. Don't expect the experience to resemble a concert from your computer, and you'll be fine.

PROS: Sweet mid and high range, lovely sound stage and ambience, extremely high fidelity and detailed sound. Unbeatable

CONS: None, except the bass level which however can easily be overcome.

PROS: Very good sound for a small speaker. Lot's of hook up options

CONS: Right speaker just stopped working one day. Now it works for a few minutes then dies. Just a couple of months out of warranty.

PROS: The Studiophile AV 40 is a larger-than-average PC speaker system that makes a bigger-than-average sound; large 4-inch woofer, 1-inch tweeter; 20 watts per speaker; rock solid medium-density fiberboard construction; Bass Boost switch.
