Disney Pictionary DVD Game
.caption { font-family: Verdana, Helvetica neue, Arial, serif; font-size: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-style: italic; } ul.indent { list-style: inside disc; text-indent: -15px; } Speed, not artistry, is the key to Pictionary games aimed at the younger set. Playing out like charades except by drawing on paper rather than flailing around, this party game has been popular for more than 20 years now. The Disney DVD version is geared toward kids and has been created with hundreds of characters, places, and things from the vaults of the renowned kid-friendly empire. In this classic game of quick draw, players try to correctly guess the identity of words and phrases that are being sketched before anyone else. It takes a quick hand and good guesswork to beat out opponents who are thinking along the same lines as you. To make the fun even more engaging, there is an included DVD with this version that provides a new twist. When a game card reads "DVD," have the disc ready in a player, grab the remote, and be prepared to shout out your answer first as a studio animator draws images for you to see on your television screen. There are hundreds of animated clues on the DVD, and the game offers two play levels. When younger children are included, level one uses classic Disney animation. Level two features more recent Disney movies as well as Pixar animation for an added challenge. Also on the DVD are live action clips and snippets of animated movies for total family enjoyment. What?s in the box 1 DVD 4 markers Blank paper Scorecard pad 1 challenge die Game cards A TV, DVD player, and remote control are needed but not included. Players draw items on the included wipe-off pads, and also watch a studio animator draw on the television screen. View larger. more

disney pictionary dvd game
It was fun, but the advertising was incorrect on the dvd drawing pictures. It does not draw at all. Pictures from movies are faded and clear up. This does not really add to the pictionary game. It is more like the "scene it" game.

Disney Pictionary DVD Game
My 6 1/2 yr-old granddaughter loves Disney Pictionary DVD Game! She is a great artist (better than her grandmother) for the opt to draw, but she also loves to guess the drawings from the TV screen, which also offers hints. Lots of fun for young and old.

Great for young children too
My children are 3 and 6 and after just a little coaching, they were able to do it by themselves if they needed too. My older son did want to try to draw and the wipeable boards were great. My youngest son loved to guess the pictures on the TV. The only thing was it doesn't keep their attention...

Great Family Fun
Everyone in my family (from ages 3 to 30) played this as a group a few nights ago and had a great time. The regular gameplay worked for everyone who could read and the pre-reading members were able to play with some help.

Disney DVD Pictionary, Excellent Family Game!
We played this game on Christmas Day after the kids received it from Santa. Our family age range is 3 years to 42 years old, family of 6. We all had a blast! Our youngest just had fun watching everyone else laugh and get excited. She was very enthralled with the pictures taking shape on the TV...

Basic Good Fun!
This is good. Not as durable as you'd hope for a kids game. The dry erase picture sheet began falling apart after our first use. Content, DVD and game style is great fun.

A Pictionary Fan Review!
Disney Pictionary was as much fun as seen on TV! I have the Pictionary PC edition, which has the drawback that you need a PC to play it. This version (Disney DVD Pictionary) does not. It plays great on your DVD player. It has two modes, Easy and Hard. Even the Easy mode was a little challenging...

Game is SERIOUSLY misrepresented
I purchased this game at Target on Black Friday after seeing it in their ad. I read the bos at the store and thought it would be a great game. I love Pictionary but I'm not good at drawing. When I got the purchase home, I put in the DVD and watched the "How to Play." As on the front of the box,...
