InSTEP Rocket Aluminum Bike Trailer
Take your kids along when biking to the grocery store or heading to a friend's house with the InStep Rocket bike trailer. The Rocket--which holds two children weighing up to 100 pounds combined--sports an aluminum frame with an outrigger design to protect the cabin and wheels while you ride, along with a pair of 20-inch, fast-rolling, rustproof alloy rear wheels. As a result, the trailer lets you securely zip along city streets without fearing for your children's safety. The Rocket also includes a universal coupler that attaches quickly to almost any bike. And once you arrive at your destination, you can easily convert the trailer to a stroller without using any tools at all. Just attach the included stroller wheel and push handle and you're set. Other details include a weather shield that provides extra protection in rain and wind, a rear storage area for groceries or toys, and a screened canopy for ventilation. The Rocket, which boasts a quick-release mechanism on the wheels for compact storage, measures 52 by 36 by 35 inches (W x H x D) when fully assembled and weighs 29 pounds. Key Features: 100-pound weight capacity 20-inch alloy wheels Rust-free rims Assembles without tools Converts to stroller Durable aluminum frame Weather shield for rain protection Seats two children Bicycle style quick release wheels Wide body interior Rear storage area Quick-release wheels Folds flat to store Screened canopy for ventilation Versatile bike attachment Outrigger frame stabilizes and protect wheels more

Good trailer, OK as a stroller
I've had this trailer since the end of the summer, and on the whole have been very pleased with it. It's very easy to assemble and disassemble, and is very light and easy to pull along. The connection plate fit easily onto my rear skewer, and the trailer is very easy to hitch and unhitch. The...

fun product
I love being able to take my toddler out biking with me! I haven't used the product as a stroller, so I can't comment on the third wheel or handle attachment. The large tires on this carrier work very well. The weight of the carrier is unnoticeable (except going up hills :-P). My one...

Tight for two
I bought this trailer and put it together myself without even reading the directions. Very easy and created well. It turns on a dime if you are using it as a stroller and works well as a trailer too of course. I have twin 20mth old boys and wanted something that they could both fit in....

I wish I'd found this stroller years ago!! It looks great- Easily converts from a bike trailer to a jogging stroller, literally within minutes and is soooo easy to run with! The front pivoting wheel is awesome and both of my little ones have plenty of room inside, even with "their" stuff! As...

Love it, with some niggles
It is really light, easy to pull, attached easily to my bike, and my 2-year-old son LOVES to ride in it. I like the little cup-holder inside and all the pockets inside, he stores a couple of little toys in there.Niggles.... the harness straps are cheap-and-nasty, and can be a pain to unclip. The...

Cheap quality and small
I did a lot of research in an attempt to buy a bike trailer under $250. At first I brought home the Avenir Discovery but my wife said it needed to be convertable to a stroller...so I returned it and ordered the InStep Rocket. For about the same price as the Avenir, the quality of the InStep's...

Wonderful!
Wonderful. Our 10 month old loves riding and just sitting in this! We haven't used it as a stroller yet but will be soon on vacation. Rides smooth, lots of storage and once you have the straps setup for 1 child it is easy to use the seatbelt system ... for 2 kids it would be no issue at all from...

Does not attach to all bikes!
This trailer does not attach to all bikes. Upon receipt of the product, I assembled the trailer and attempted to take it for a spin. I was extremely frustrated when I found that the trailer would not attach to my GT Avalanche 3.0. I contacted the manufacturer and they told me to return the...
