My new favorite pianist

I was virtually unfamiliar with Oscar Peterson until Amazon made this album their MP3 Daily Deal. After hearing the clips, I had to buy it! Not since Art Tatum, have I heard a jazz pianist with such original movement and phrasing. At times, he is almost minimalistic, playing a single note...

Night Train

One of the greatest trios in jazz history. Their improvisations are almost unbelievable. It blows me away every time I play it and that is often.

Simply the best

Night Train - Oscar Peterson
