At Smarter.com, we aim to ensure we give you the most sound buying advice possible. With our 'Cumulative Product Rating' system, in order for a product to receive a rating score, it must have a minimum number of ratings to qualify.
This system is not intended to diminish the value of products with a low number of ratings and reviews, they're great, and hopefully very helpful, but if you want our advice, we want to make sure that the product you're thinking of buying has been rated and reviewed by enough shoppers like you to be a valuable indicator of product quality.

Problem With Your MB-D10?
Purchased a Nikon MB-D10 from Amazon about two months ago. Worked great for two weeks - then it caused the LCD display and the auto focus on my D300 to stop working. Apparently there was a short circuit in the grip. Nikon was great - fixed it...

Nikon MB-D10 Batteyr Grip
This is a great grip! It may be a little more expensive than its predecessors the MB-D80 and MB-D200 but in my opinion it has a better build quality and better design. It locks onto the camera firmly and doesn't feel loose or as if it has any...

A must for your D300/D700.
Solid. Fits perfectly without any wobble. It feels like part of the camera it is that solid. The ability to use AA batteries for 8fps or in place of the expensive batteries from nikon is great. I use Energizer 2500mah NiMH rechargables as 8...

Usefull addition...
In terms of use, the MB-D10 is quite better than the battery pack for the D-200, it sits a lot firmer in place and allows for more interaction with the camera body than the MB-D200 does.

Since I had purchased this item I have put it to the test through a wedding, a weeks worth of shooting out of town, and some boring stuff and it has not let me down. I am very happy with it and have seen no negatives. 8 Double A batteries is the...

Okay
The grip itsself is great, the battery life is pretty short though, Nikon needs a longer lasting batter that lasts at least 2+ hours.

Excellent Accessory
If you were to get an accessory for your d300 this would be it. Feels great and solid in your hands. It helps the over all balance with a long lens. I've been using the AA Enelopes batteries and have taken about 1000 actuations.

Excellent quality but...
The overall quality of the grip is exceptional. This is not a cheap plastic grip. It is rubberized, sturdy and sealed and comes with an insert for 8 AA batteries and a second insert for a EN-EL3 battery. The second dial works great. It's very...

Not worth the weight unless you shoot sports or have big hands
It's solidly built. It shoots 8fps with the right batteries. It turns D300 into a rapid firing tool; well, it's truly faster...
