As phony as the photoshop cake...
Seriously, take a look at the cover and you'll notice that there is a thick layer of "icing" between the cake and the plate, an obvious fake. That cover photo is pretty indicative of every recipe in the book, which are all versions of "take a cake...

This is the book that I grab when it's someone's birthday. I haven't had anything from it that was bad and I have made quite a few of these cakes. This book also has lots of recipes for frosting. I never buy canned frosting anymore, it's too...

Make it easy and simple
A friend loned me her book and I just had to have one. I like the pictures and suggestion and tips that go along with the recipes . Their all real easy to make and looks like you've spent all day making a pretty cake. I've loned my book to others...

I had this book before and lost it. I searched high and low to get another copy! You can make the BEST cakes in the world using this book - just with a cake mix and some other ingredients. Makes the best pound cakes ever. I recommend this book...
