Private Connection Dual Monitor

The new Private Connections 900 MHz Monitor with dual receivers has a sleek contemporary look similar to other popular personal electronics. The arc of lights at the top allows Mom to see the intensity of baby's cry by the number of lights showing as well as hear it. The lights are on both sides to allow greater visibility and a convenient night-light feature on the transmitter makes it easier to see in a dark nursery. Durable, flexible antennas allow for greater range and excellent sound clarity. The transmitter has a new flat design for stability and an LCD display for the channels. There are dual receivers so two people can monitor baby at the same time from two locations. Ten available channels reduce the likelihood of someone picking up your transmission and 900 MHz technology provides greater range. The unique LCD screen display includes graphic displays for volume, channels and battery life. You can keep that connection going and save money with rechargeable batteries which are included! Includes two 3.6 volt V (3 X 1,2V) Rechargeable NiCd Battery Pack. Compatible charger power adapter included. The monitor also has rechargeable batteries for added convenience and value.  more

Loud noise

This monitor worked ok at first but it has increasingly gotten louder and louder in terms of static. It started out that it had to sit in a few certain places around the house and it would be ok but now nowhere we sit it is it ok! My mom got one too for when she baby sits and one of her...

Continuous breakage

After 2 months, our base unit quit working, so we bought a new full set, giving us 1 base unit and 4 parent units. Then, over the next few months, some of the parent units stopped working as well until we were back down to 2 parent units. Now, 2 years later, the last 2 parents units are...

Solid Performance

Bought our first set for our first born. Bought a second set for our second child. We just put each transmitter on a seperate channel. Minimal static. No issues with reliability.

LOVE this monitor!!

I would highly recommend this monitor. My daughter is 15 months old and it still works perfectly. I was hesitant to buy it because the last Fisher Price monitor I had was so terrible with static and white noise. This one is very quiet and picks up the slightest noises that the baby makes. I...

Do not buy!

We were thoroughly unimpressed with this monitor. Its static wasn't just the white noise kind but like interference from a walkie talkie, so we'd lie awake waiting for the next loud crackle. Not only that, at full volume we could barely hear our baby! The manual changing of the channels on both...

Great while it lasted...

I have been using this monitor for about 18 months. For the first year it work great. I have the monitor across the room because the slightest movement wakes me up in the middle of the night. Even from across the room, on the lowest sounds levels (2-3) it picks up loud movement and light cries...

Don't buy it, unless you only need it for a year!

You would think a 60.00 Baby Monitor system could work for longer than a year....but no luck.I loved this monitor for a year, but now it completely blanks out and cuts off randomly. I have woken up twice now to my daughter in my room (she is 2, and recently switched to a twin bed which she can...

Would not recommend

The receivers are good; sound quality is good, and I like how the receivers and rechargable and last for about eight hours or so without a charge. However, I have owned this product for about 7 months and the monitor base isn't working so well. It doesn't want to turn on. I don't think it will...

If you want to sleep, DON'T BUY THIS MONITOR

We bought this to replace a sony Baby Call that was wearing out after 3 1/2 years of everyday use. The store we went to didn't have the sony, which we wanted, so we settled for this fisher price piece of garbage. This thing never is silent even if nothing is on in the room. What's the point...

Keep this for a long time

I bought this as a gift based upon the recommendation of my daughter who has been using one. Hers was so good that her neighbor borrowed it and packed up the more expensive one she had. That being said, having the cordless option allows mom or dad to walk about or go outside BUT if you don't need...
