PROS: You can watch the television service (directv account) that you pay for and see it when you are away from home. Great for college kids who don't want to miss local news/sports.
CONS: It took this long to develop such a wonderful item.

Worst product I have seen for the price. I pretty well resumed my feeling in the CONS. My advise is GET AWAY FROM THIS. You will avoid LOSS OF TIME, MONEY AND A LOT OF FRUSTRATION.

I had a slingbox pro for a little over a year. Great, GREAT device. It suddenly stopped working with blinking lights on the front panel. I stepped through all of the troubleshooting tips with no success. I contacted with Sling Media for support.

I did some research on line to find SEVERAL reports of the box failing. I again contacted Sling Media mentioning the entries online. Granted I am two weeks out of warranty. I thought Sling Media would assist out of customer service courtesy. NOPE

PROS: Great ease of use, great picture and audio quality
CONS: The SlingBox pro failed after a year. I followed the troubleshooting tips with no results.I called Sling Media for support, but I am two weeks out of warranty. For support, I must pay the fee.
