Toast 8 is old version and still great
Running on OSX 10.4.11 this old version of Toast grabbed the Lightscribe DVD recorder in my new HP Photosmart 8180 and wrote a good title image first try with DiscLabel. It also uses my old USB Aopen DUW1616/ARR with no issues.

"Audio/Video Sync Problem"
My experience with this product has been terrible.
PROS: It would be great if Tivo Transfer functionality worked as advertised.
CONS: Tivo Transfers have audio that is out-of-sync. Roxio tech support did not help.

Oversold Expectations
Toast isn't the Mac equivalent of Roxio's Windows programs. All I wanted to do was burn copies of DVDs, and it constantly balks, hangs up, claims disks are damaged, etc. - - with discs that are NOT copy protected, run fine on either Windows...
