"Perfect program, still best in the world."
In my opinion Adobe Photoshop CS2 is the best image editor in the world. Its features are simply ingenious, its tools so powerful... There is no doubt, Photoshop is still the best image editor in the world, and it just keeps improving...
PROS: Good interface, powerfull image editing tools, animation tools
CONS: obviously price. Terribly overpriced product.

Non intuitive and full of bugs
After 3 days of intensive learning I still can't do some very basic things, it takes me sometimes hours of research to do the most simple things ... like gradient painting a circle object while it takes one intuitive action with my previous...

Does CS2 Run on Vista?
Will CS2 run on Vista? I use a newer Photoshop version at work, now I want it at home. I cannot upgrade from my old Photoshop 5.5 because I lost the disk and cover. My new computer runs Vista.

WHY BOTHER? BUY CS3!
It doesn't make sense to buy this version anymore. It's been replaced by CS3 which is much better! Buy CS and upgrade to CS3. You can buy CS upgrade for way less and get CS3 upgrade for $299!

If you use a RAID system, beware!
The heavy handed activation system does not work with a computer using RAID storage. The software continually looks for proof of activation and that the system did not change.
