At Smarter.com, we aim to ensure we give you the most sound buying advice possible. With our 'Cumulative Product Rating' system, in order for a product to receive a rating score, it must have a minimum number of ratings to qualify.
This system is not intended to diminish the value of products with a low number of ratings and reviews, they're great, and hopefully very helpful, but if you want our advice, we want to make sure that the product you're thinking of buying has been rated and reviewed by enough shoppers like you to be a valuable indicator of product quality.

"Can't transfer license from Windows to Mac"
I recently switched Windows to Mac. Since Dreamweaver includes both versions, I thought I could deactivate my Windows machine, and install it on the Mac. After calling their customer service department twice, I was told that this is not...

"Never any updates"
Write a paragraph of text. Place your cursor within it and click the "blockquote" command to indent the paragraph. MX2004 most likely will indent AND CENTER the text. You have to go to the Code View and manually delete the spurious HTML. It's...
PROS: It's a workhorse
CONS: Too many little bugs that would be so easy to fix

PROS: Strong feature set, interface is very nice when you get used to it
CONS: The single least stable commercial application I've ever used
