"Just gotten the N600, I have realized that Yamaha builds some nice sounding receivers"

I like the receiver and it's worthwhile since I paid alittle under what most places offer it for...so yes, I did get a real deal...if you can find one, just take it, it's not exactly perfect with some of it's extras, but then you won't...

Overall great unit, what makes it unique is its networking ability and it is a flawed one at that. at the end of the day is is a solid receiver.

"DON'T Buy for network capabilities"

I rate it as poor, not because of the sound (which is great like all Yamaha's), but because it is sold as a network receiver which is why it stands alone. It is only 6.1 - not 7.1 but I guess for the price this is understandable. The...
