Map damaged en route

The map itself is beautiful, but at some point before reaching my house, the bottom part of the poster tube was crushed, which wrinkled the bottom of my map pretty badly.

Would like better if it came laminated

This map is beautiful. I didn't want anything too large, but this is pretty big- the perfect size for what I wanted. It you want more extreme details like lots of cities, get something larger. The colors seem a little brighter than what the image shows, but it looks great. My only complaint is...

A great looking world map

We purchased this to put on the wall. We used walpaper paste and because the paper the map is printed on is quite thin, we got a couple of tears... but the map dried and looks great. Suggestion.... if you are using walpaper paste, paint it on the wall and then smooth the map into place.

Beautiful maps ruined twice during shipping

Great price for a truly beatiful map--but buy it at a brick and morter store, especially if you want to mount it for display. Ordered my first one from Amazon and found a crushed triangular cardboard box on my doorstep. The rolled map sustaind heavy creases. Shame on UPS I figured. My bad luck....
