I bought the original version of Betty Edwards book back when it was new. In fact, my copy is autographed by her, as I went to a workshop with her at the time. I used the concepts for teaching drawing to high school students every year...

Intro is somewhat interesting, but the rest of the book was hard to get into. I felt like it was a struggle to enjoy it and understand it. However, what I did get out of the book was useful.

- Just a warning
Whether or not this is helpful my biggest problem with the book is the nude/pornographic drawings in it. It would be refreshing to have an art book that is just pure, clean drawings without having to deal with these kind of drawings.
