I ordered this book for my niece to learn how to paint with watercolors. I wish that I would have read some of the reviews first... because just like some of the reviewers state, this book leaves out too many steps for a beginner...

The artist's paintings in this book are beautiful, but I found the step-by-step intructions to be very unclear with steps missing. Also, the preliminary drawings are very sketchy and most are not detailed enough to be able to follow...
