At Smarter.com, we aim to ensure we give you the most sound buying advice possible. With our 'Cumulative Product Rating' system, in order for a product to receive a rating score, it must have a minimum number of ratings to qualify.

This system is not intended to diminish the value of products with a low number of ratings and reviews, they're great, and hopefully very helpful, but if you want our advice, we want to make sure that the product you're thinking of buying has been rated and reviewed by enough shoppers like you to be a valuable indicator of product quality.

From: Amazon Posted: Apr 17, 2008 Type: User Review Name Says it All

All you ever wanted to know (and maybe some stuff you probably didn't need to) in an account given by the band itself and a few other insiders. A frank look into the lives of one of the most decadent bands in history. Impossible to put down.

From: Amazon Posted: Apr 08, 2008 Type: User Review I'm not particularly a Cre fan but couldn't put it down

Each and every paragraph in The Dirt, the story of Mtley Cre, puts the wildest night of your life to shame. The Cre's excess would make freakin Caligula look like a prude, and anyone hoping to top their insane heights of drugs, sex, and rock n...

From: Amazon Posted: Apr 06, 2008 Type: User Review Very entertaining

There's something endlessly entertaining about Motley Crue.
From their childhoods to the story of Ozzy and the ants, this book has it all!
It's pretty crass and definitely not for everyone but I highly enjoyed it!
I'll read it...

From: Amazon Posted: Mar 29, 2008 Type: User Review What I Expected: Classic Crue

This book is a classic. I have read it countless times, and still find it to be one of the best rock autobiographies around. Motley Crue: Iconic, Complex, Tragic. These guys are so human, and that is why I love this book. I personally dislike...

From: Amazon Posted: Mar 19, 2008 Type: User Review Heartwarming, Inspirational, Should Be on Every 5th Grade Reading List!!

Just joking. My first concert ever was Motley Crue at Madison Square Garden back in 1987 and I still remember all those feelings of awe, rebellion, excitement and raging hormones they inspired to my 13 year old psyche and I suppose they were doing...

From: Amazon Posted: Mar 11, 2008 Type: User Review Outrageous, flabbergasting, obnoxious...and incredibly fun

All of these things...and more. What a book!!!! I PROMISE you - you won't put this down. You'll spend time with Ozzy, Nikki Sixx's addictions, his death and resurrection, Tommy Lee's women, Vince Neil's drinking and Mick Mars' diseases. Like a...

From: Amazon Posted: Mar 01, 2008 Type: User Review Great insight to a notorious band

This is a great book, the ones with the most struggle are Nikki Sixx and Vince Neil. Another reviewer had it right Tommy is spoiled. Mick Mars has just proven once again that he is a mystery that no one can crack. I would have like to have seen...

From: Amazon Posted: Feb 25, 2008 Type: User Review Not just for the fans

Before I read The Dirt, I could name exactly one song by Motley Crue, and only because it's featured in guitar hero 3.

It turns out, I'd heard quite a few of their songs over the years, but the appeal of this book has nothing to do...

From: Amazon Posted: Feb 06, 2008 Type: User Review trash

If you are old enough to remember these guys when they were in thier prime, the things that were funny and impresive sure sound stupid and classless now at 45 years old. Perhaps they are running out of money and selling books sounded like an idea?...
