Real rock from the South.
Excellent music! I have to say of all my collection Lynyrd Skynyrd has to be in my Top 7 best. Great sound.

Good songs
I do like Lynard Skynard, and it was a greatest hits, so I bought it. The only thing is that the song "Black Betty" wasn't on that CD. Anything else is fair game.

Skynard
The music is fine. The same can't be said for the CD. It played fine at first but within 2 weeks it started to lose cuts and be less and less reliable. The same player plays other CD's with no problems. This one is heading for the recycling bin.Don't waste your money.

Great but not the Greatest
As with any album's title that includes greatest, you will find some songs that should be on there that aren't. Two of my all time favorites, off the (live) one more from the road album, Working For the MCA and The Needle and the Spoon are absent. You could also throw in Poison Whiskey, Searchin...

Lynyrd Skynyrd is the greatest
The Lynyrd Skynyrd cd I got from Amazon is great! It has all the songs on it that I have been looking for. I got it in brand new condition, and I am completely satisfied!!!!

Pronounced Leonard Skinnard
I'm not a fan, but if you are, this is a good collection. I like the Allman Brothers better (and yes, I know they are a blues band). I bought this to learn "You've Got That Right" for my band. If the Eagles or The James Gang are considered Southern Rock, and that is your odyssey, check them...
