Let There Be Rock

AC/DC's 1977 release, "Let There Be Rock", is one of the best AC/DC albums they've ever made for one reason, Its good high voltage rock n roll with no stopping and non stop rocking, and more... Let There Be Rock is filled with pounding drums, great guitar riffs, and cool singing which makes this...

my favorite rock album of all time

First off, I want to comment on the difference between the original Australian version and this international version. As is the case with all of the Bon Scott era albums before Powerage, the original releases are, in every case, superior to the international versions. I have this current...

...And There Was Rock

AC/DC - Let There Be Rock 1977A stronger album from AC/DC, it has a few classic songs and many quintessential riffs. Both guitars are starting their amps on fire and the steady beats sound like gigantic waves crashing into the Great Barrier Reef (of Rock!). Bon Scott may have not had all of...

Their best produced album

This is AC/DC`s best produced album. Vander and Young did a suburb job on the dials here. Everything about the sound on this album is brilliant, the guitars are right up front and virtually assault your ears, the drumming and bass are tight as a virgin`s you know what and finally Bon`s vocals are...

let there be MORE than rock

Wow, this is one powerful rock album. It pack a serious MEAN and NASTY punch. It's raw, straight forward, simple rock and roll with the volume turned WAY up. But wait! That's not all! The band members also give us some highly enjoyable guitar soloing in the title song. This band was truly...

Crabsody in Blue is what makes this album the classic it is

While I agree that the remastered AC/DC catalogue greatly enhances the listening experience of the Bon-era albums (esp. If you want blood.. - one of the best live rock recordings ever!!), the original remastered Oz edition of "Let There Be Rock" (circa 1992) should not be overlooked (assuming you...

Well worth it

I just picked up all the old AC/DC albums and was really impressed. The sound quality on the re-mastered CDs is so much better than my older versions. After hearing one, I immediately replaced all the old CDs. Its a breath of fresh air for this music, it feels live, raw, and right in your room.

Let There Be AC/DC

Let There Be Rock is one of the best AC/DC albums from the Bon Scott era!! This album is loud, hard and will rock everybody who takes a listen to it! From the first song on the album "Go Down"(my favorite) to "Whole Lotta Rosie", this album just rocks non stop and it doesn't let up...If you...

A Great One from a Band of Problem Children

A killer album from Bon and the boys, this one's a non-stop rock n' roll assault. There's no sense in describing an AC/DC album in too much detail. There are killer riffs, a few Angus Young solos worth writing home about, probably a couple of songs you've heard get some good radio play (most...

Fantastic Rock album

Another classic album from the greatness of AC/DC. Be sure to check out Back in Black and Highway to Hell first, but this would be a good place to continue your collection after those.
