Worth the price
The CD includes their most important hits, except track 11 ("Take me"). The DVD could be much better, but we cannot expect more, because this is a "CD + DVD" edition. I am satisfied just to watch Inside Looking Out from the original 1969 PBS show, 1st time on DVD.

Man, it can't get much better than this!
This is the greatest improved rock band "best of" re-issue since Rare Earth's "The Millenium Collection". I had Capitol's Collectors Edition of the best of Grand Funk for many years. This new re-issue with just their most importants songs, plus about 40 minutes of live performances on DVD makes...

GFR Rules!
This is worth the price of the greatest hits package (not another one!) My only complaint...Why don't they release the whole Shea Stadium concert on Blu Ray! Its the best thing on there (And the promo clip along with the TV studio film of 'Inside Lookin' Out'.) The bubblegum part of GFR I can...

5 Star Music, 1 Star DVD!
As a huge GFR fan, the re-masters CD is very good, incredible music, of course from America's greatest rock and roll band! (outside of maybe TP/Heartbreakers), but i gotta give the DVD a 1-Star. It is way boring, poorly shot, and the concert footage of Mark and Don on stage with microphones...

THE BEST FUNK AND INCLUDE ....
ONLY GRAND FUNK OBTAIN THIS PURE SOUND WHIT THREE MUSICIANS, GREAT SONGS, AND THE IMAGENES IN THE DVD DISC ARE FANTASTICS, GRAND FUNK RAILROAD FOR EVER, SUPER RECOMENDED.

Very good, but not great
I thought this was a pretty good package. It was missing a few songs on that I thought should have been on the c.d., but nothing too crucial. The DVD was good, but I wish there was better out there. A full length DVD of the Shea stadium concert would be great!

At Last !!!!
I first heard GFR at the age of 15 and have waited 31 years to see them "in the flesh". The sheer power and drive is unique to Grand Funk. Amazing drumming by Don and the bass work is so tight. The sound is brilliant even on the older footage. Please can we now get the full concerts?

Can't stop watching the DVD
I've been a Grand Funk Railroad fan since I was 14 (not 50) and never saw them perform - just listened to their albums. Mark Farner's performance of "Inside Looking Out" is outstanding as well as Don Brewer and Mel Schacher. Of course I love the CD - all the songs I loved and still love.

GFR rocks on!!!
Compared to an old cassette of "The Best of Grand Funk Railroad," the sound of the digitally re-mastered recordings are no comparison. They are smokin'!!! The added bonus of the DVD just enhances enjoyment of some good old-time rock-n-roll!
