AC/DC Coming Back From The Dead
Througout the mid 80s AC/DC wasnt really the biggest band in the world but 1988's Blow Up Your Video signals the band coming back too life. It still is just average 80s rock though but its better than fly on the wall. Contains there classic song Heatseeker, i recomend this album

Their last consistent album
AC/DC's 1988 album, Blow Up Your Video, is one of the better albums to feature vocalist Brian Johnson and was sort of a comeback after the uneven Fly on the Wall. Malcolm Young's strong riffs are still in tact while brother Angus' lead playing remains top notch. While there is no modern AC/DC...

I Like This Better Than Razors Edge
I'm not sure why this album gets lumped in with the other post Back in Black 80's albums. To me, this is their best album since Back in Black. It is more consistent than Razors Edge. The guitar tones are great and great riffs abound. Give it another listen!

That's the way I wanna rock
This is a great album! The first 3 songs on the album "Heatseeker", "That's the way I wanna Rock 'n' Roll" and "Meanstreak" are songs that will get anyone tapping their feet. Brian Johnson has a great sense of humor and it shows with songs like "Go Zone", "Two's Up" and the before mention...

Half and Half
AC/DC's 1988 release, "Blow up Your Video" is a bit better then "Fly on the Wall" but its not much of an improvement, as half of the songs 10tracks and good, and half are just plain bad. Even though some fans might bash the album as a "Sellout" and crossing over more to a hair-metal sound, I dont...

Much better than I expected... surprising good!
If you like good heavy blues rock buy Blow up your video. Back in Black is better but this is still very good. Three songs are 3 stars ... Nick of Time, Some Sin for Nuthin' and Go Zone but all the others are so good that this is a 5 star album. Buy it... You won't regret it.

Better than I expected
To be honest, I thought this was a decent one. After listening to "For Those About to Rock," where I think they went a tad overboard, I found this one to have some better rhythms. Brian Johnson seems to be at his best when he has something with a good beat, which most of the songs on "For Those...

Not awful ....but
Ac/Dc had really been having a rough spot of luck....'Flick Of The Switch' bombed...they tried to re-release tracks with Bon on '74 Jailbreak' still didn't bring back the crowd they lost after 'For Those About To Rock' (which was a fantastic CD),they tried writing a CD filled with melody and...
