Oh Baby!
I remember my brother getting a Baby's cassette back in the day. It was a few years after the hay-day of The Baby's, so for him it was a nostaglic trip. Needless to say I was an unwitting bystander to the music. It eventually grew on me.When I was perusing some music from that time, I came across...

Great Remastered Babys Anthology, With Five Extra Songs
The new version of the Babys' ANTHOLOGY features warm, crisp remastering, plus five songs not on the original. The mix of ballads ("Isn't It Time", "Every Time I Think Of You") and rockers ("Head First", "Back On My Feet Again", "Midnight Rendezvous") is striking, the harder-rocking songs being...

Great remastering !
A handful of baby's songs remastered sounding better than you've ever heard them before. You can finally hear an undistortted string section on "Isn't It Time", and "Back On My Feet Again is punchy and alive. It's a great buy on a reissue done right

Reminds me of Foreigner before their big hits of the 80's
I have been a John Waite fan. I remember his Bad English work as being quite worthy and a nice transitional period of his from his solo work. I was curious as to whether he had any other bands and I went online to find out. I found his Baby's era. Quite interesting and reminds me of Foreigner...

Possible Amazon Error
I bought this CD for one particular song which was listed on the review, and it was not on the CD. Since I bought this CD several years ago, I thought maybe it was revised and the additional song "I love how you love me" was added. It was not. Anthology is a great (album) CD, but Amazon could...

ripe for ripping
Bought the disk for five songs. Got 'em. Now I skip through the detritus for those five songs. Time to rip off the good stuff and trade the disc in.

Excellent CD
I've always heard The Babys songs on the radio, always meaning to buy their music. Finally I heard "Isn't it Time" and immediately ordered the Anthology CD.Excellent compilation of songs. John Waite's voice is smooth, the lyrics are great. I especially love the live version of "Looking for...

waite for this one
Waite described Chrysalis as a strange record company, the Babys were certainly in the shadow of other Chrysalis acts Blondie and Leo Sayer. The name the Babys was used by this hard rock group to get a contract in the pretty boy oriented industry of 1976. They wore makeup for the second album...

ROCK ME BABY
This is an extension (by seven tracks) of John Waite's pre-solo, pre-Bad English group's greatest hits, which is a good or a bad thing, depending on how much you like the Babys. Straddling the line between pop and roll and soulful ballads, two of their efforts in the latter department (ISN'T IT...

Missing Key Tracks
Growing up around the time the Babys were popular. I am very familiar with their records. I must add that this Anthology is missing too many hits. Too of the biggest radio hits at the time were "She's My Girl" and "Too Far Gone". They should be on here. It's a disappointment to me that they...
