La Sexorcisto-Devil Music Vol. 1
The title of White Zombie's first mainstream success promises some good, trashy fun, and boy does this album deliver. White Zombie is not a nihilistic, the-world-is-rotten heavy metal band; on the contrary, one doubts that they're in danger of taking anything too seriously, and the humor is audible in every riff. La Sexorcisto is rife with distorted guitars, snippets of dialogue from horror movies, and songs about fast cars ("Black Sunshine"), loose women ("Grindhouse (A-Go-Go)"), and the generally weird. Don't think about it too hard; sit back, relax, pop a cool one and crank up the stereo until it shakes your ceiling. -- Genevieve Williams more

Best Zombie By Far
If you like Rob Zombie or at least are interested in the least this is the best of the bunch by far. Another reviewer said Thunderkiss was one of the only good songs on this CD? No way. I am Legend is KILLER. Seriously I remember a party in college where this CD spit all night long and...

3.5 stars
I've never really known how to categorize White Zombie, except to say that I find them innovative and interesting to listen to. Killer grooves abound, and that's what makes this so good. It's metal...but not the blues-less metal you normally find, and there's no doubt that Rob Zombie is an...

Zombie's Finest Hour
Many, MANY people say that Astro Creep is a better album. Other's will tell you that Rob's solo stuff is better than this. Well, I just don't get it. On this album every element is firing on all cylinders. The riffs are killer, especially on songs like "Thrust!" and "I Am Legend". The...

The GREATEST f*cking mix of groove metal, horror, and b-movies
With Rob Zombie's great vocals and J's guitar with catchy riffs and fast simple solos makes this an album to remember. From the begging of Planet Mother F*cker to the end of Warp Asylum you keep the earbuds glued to your ear drums. The only bad songs are the short little 45ish second ones (Radio...

The last thing Rob did that had balls....
A lot of people think that this album is inferior to Astro Creep. I guess I would agree with that if I liked whiny vocals and techno/industrial beats, but I don't. La Sexorcisto is such a great album because it was one of the first metal cds that had groove and that made you want to get in a...

Rob's major label debut.
I love everything that Rob Zombie has done, but the White Zombie years were special. To everyone who likes his solo stuff, but maybe isn't familiar with the old school Zombie, do yourself a favor and check them out. Classic songs, great riffs, and monster fun. "Thunderkiss '65" is one of the best...

OK
I do not know what it is about AMERICAN BAND. It is like FORD or CHEVY vs BMW or TOYOTA. Something is missing....its get bored after all. Not to mention from the start, it does not have that exciting refreshing kick to it. UK bands and Scandinavian bands some how GETS IT.
