New massage therapy technique
This is a great book on the LaStone technique of hot and cold stone massage. History, directions, insights, etc. It's an invaluable reference, even if you never take the LaStone training. WONDERFUL book!

One book that I should have read the reviews on first!!
No Kidding!!! I was looking for a book on hot stone technique, and thinking that this book was authorized by the founder of this wonderful modality, it should have been full of neat ideas and techniques to incorporate into my sessions. What A Crock! It's a fairly decent history lesson, at best...

I think the book is great and I absolutely disagree with the other review. The use of hot (and cold, which is the basis of Lastone Therapy) stones during massage or any kind of therapy is something not to be taken lightly and one cannot just learn the techniques from a book. This book really...

Useless
I am a massage therapist and was looking for a book on how to incorporate hot stones into my massages. I was EXTREMELY dispappointed with this book it is more of an advertisement for "La Stone" classes. Don't spend your money.
