Greatest Hits
It may surprise some to realize that Guns N? Roses released only four full-length original albums, and two of those debuted simultaneously. But they were enough to forever change rock ?n? roll. Even more shocking is that one of the great bands in rock history, with its last studio album issued 10 years ago, has never had a "best of" compilation. Now it has. Welcome to the jungle with Greatest Hits (Geffen), released March 23, 2004. With 14 selections housed in a digipak, Greatest Hits features all eight of the band?s Top 40 Billboard Hot 100 tracks (five of them RIAA-certified "gold," i.e., sales of more than 500,000 units). Along with spanning the group?s five album releases, Greatest Hits also marks the debut on a Guns N? Roses album of the band?s cover of the Rolling Stones? "Sympathy For The Devil" for the 1995 film Interview With The Vampire. more

About "Chinese Democracy"
Slash is my guitar hero of all time. Unexpectedly Buckethead is just as great as he is, or even better. Try one of Buckethead's albums, you will fall in love with and finally get addicted to his underestimated talent. Buckethead can play any style as well as guitar god Jeff Beck. "Chinese...

Greatest Hits Indeed!
This is truly a Guns N' Roses greatest hits collection. It perfectly sums up the band's entire career, with it's core members. There seems to be a problem with the tracks Geffen (record label) chose for this compilation. I noticed more than half the 1-2 star reviews rated so low simply because it...

Greatest Hits? Not Quite . . .
First of all, as everyone who is looking at this album knows, GNR unleashed some kick a** rock, and are an icon of the 80's, despite their early flameout and general lack of albums. This set cherry picks the cream of the crop hits, like Welcome to the Jungle, Paradise City, Sweet Child O' Mine,...

This is actually the second time I bought this CD. The first one was loaned to a friend and she conveniently "lost" it she loved it so much. I have always liked Guns N Roses and my kids LOVE it. Plus, we are sentimental fans of "Welcome to the Jungle" since we lived in Cincinnati for a long...
