Bob Seger - Greatest Hits
Bob Seger has racked up a lot of worthy tracks over the years, but it took until 1994 for a greatest hits package to appear. Voilà. The bad news: We're missing an awful lot of songs here. Night Moves is Seger's crit-pick album, and a great place to start if you don't have any Seger at all. Next in the rankings is Stranger in Town. Otherwise, his highs are pretty scattered, which would make any best-of package a worthy investment. But if you want to get comprehensive, "Rock & Roll Never Forgets," "Fire Down Below," "Horizontal Bop," "Her Strut," "Betty Lou's Getting Out Tonight," and "Katmandu" aren't on this CD--and you'll have to go to the original albums to secure them. --Gavin McNett more

bob seger mini anthology
this cd is very good. it covers his whole career from the beginning, to almost present day. its very good, for considering greatest hits, it has good song selection. because he has so many good songs, its just one greatest hits.

Quick, perfect and the right price!
Originally I went through all the struggles attempting to purchase this CD from the eBay website. Even after all my efforts, I still did not end up with the CD in hand. Ordering it from Amazon proved to be a snap!! I also was certain that the CD would be in perfect condition upon receipt....

Greatest?
This doesn't strike me as a "Greatest Hits" exactly, but is a good studio collection for a great sale price. All in all, it has a nice mellow quality about it, but if you're looking for something with more "adrenaline", go for the live recordings of the "Nine Tonight" cd.

Moldy Oldy
Audio quality wasn't up to par with modern CDs. I bought this for a couple of songs but I'm not a big Seger fan overall. I think these songs are best remembered and not purchased. If you must, buy a single from iTunes or something similar and save $10.

My new CD is defective

Love that old time Rock 'n Roll
Bob Seger's music is just as great now 30 years on as when I first heard it. I love listening to all the oldies - it is a great selection of his songs.
